1952 - Michael Jeter, American actor (d. 2003) 1953 - Pat Sharkey, Northern Irish footballer. 1944 - adam von trott zu solz, german diplomat opposing the nazi regime (executed) 1945 - franz werfel, austrian writer (b. 1890) Anyways.... i spun up some merino in white and baby blue and tried my hand at plying for the first time. hotel lawrence dallas tx 1957 - The USSR announces the successful test of an ICBM - a "super longdistance intercontinental multistage ballistic rocket ... a few days ago," according to Tass Soviet News Agency.. .... but not in that order :)i got a new drop spindle. the old one i had was too small and i'm not so into lace weight so i got one that's a little beefier and handles better. i think it's the 3 oz. one. it's an ashford. So there's this boy with an everytime i die t-shirt on and he's got tatoos of lame stuff all over his arms and whatnot... but anyways so i'm working at the info booth thingie and he comes over and looks at me funny. so i then ask him if there is anything i can help him find. and he asks about transformer and g.i. joe movies/shows. and then begins to ask me about the sweatshirt i'm wearing. (to clarify.. i bought this half type sweatshirt thing that has a hood and full sleeves... but only covers half my torso. but i loveeee it even though i get made fun of everytime i wear it; i just don't care) he was all, "did you buy your sweatshirt that way... or did you shrink it." which lead to witty banter about my sweatshirt and then lead on to a discussion of transformers. so to make a long story short he was quite impressed with my transformer knowledge... and then eventually asked for my number. which was just too funny. things like that don't happen to me- ever. so i mean if the kid has enough guts to ask, i'm sure as hell going to give him my number. so i got asked for my number at work: it was just one of those moments that i never thought would happen to me ever. hotel andra seattle |
